Wide-Spout Jug

A spherical terracotta jug with a dramatically angled wide-pour spout that extends horizontally from the neck - an eccentric form rooted in the same ancient pouring vessels that inspired the oinochoe. Place it as a sculptural accent or fill with a single dried stem. Handmade in Crete from natural terracotta using traditional Greek pottery methods.

This piece is unglazed earthenware - unsealed inside and intended for dried flowers, stems, or decorative use rather than water. As with all handmade ceramics, slight variations in form, texture, and surface are an inherent part of the process - no two pieces leave the kiln the same, and these marks of the maker's hand are what make each piece its own.
