Saffron Jug
A round-bodied glazed jug in a deep amber-saffron glaze - the colour of harvest light, warm and immediate, with a high-gloss finish that catches the room around it. Suited to fresh or dried botanicals, or simply set on a kitchen or dining surface as an elegant piece of Mediterranean ceramic that earns its place by presence alone. Handmade by artisan ceramicists in Crete using glazing traditions that trace back centuries.
As with all handmade ceramics, slight variations in form, glaze colour, and surface finish are an inherent part of the process - no two pieces leave the kiln the same, and these marks of the maker's hand are what make each piece its own.
