Flared Jug
A round, low-centred terracotta jug with a striking flared neck that opens in a wide, upswept curve - a form that is both ancient in origin and strikingly contemporary in silhouette. Style as a vase with dried flowers or simply place as a decorative object on its own terms. Handmade in Crete using traditional Greek pottery methods.
This piece is unglazed earthenware - unsealed inside and intended for botanicals, or decorative use rather than water. As with all handmade ceramics, slight variations in form, texture, and surface are an inherent part of the process - no two pieces leave the kiln the same, and these marks of the maker's hand are what make each piece its own.
