Chalk Wave Bowl
A glazed chalk-white bowl with a softly undulating rim - rising and falling in a continuous wave that only a hand on a wheel could produce. The interior glaze catches the light differently at each point of the rim, and the unglazed terracotta base is visible at the foot. For fruit, for bread, for anything, or simply placed on a table where its organic form can be appreciated. Handmade by Cretan artisans using traditional glazing methods.
As with all handmade ceramics, slight variations in form, glaze colour, and surface finish are an inherent part of the process - no two pieces leave the kiln the same, and these marks of the maker's hand are what make each piece its own.

We take as much care with packing as the makers took with the firing. Every piece is individually wrapped, padded and boxed before it leaves us.
