Chalk Jug III
A tall, full-bodied glazed jug in chalk white, the handle sweeping around the rear of the body and attaching slightly off-centre - a distinctive detail visible only from behind, and entirely the result of the handmade process. Elegant for fresh or dried flowers, or as a standalone piece of Cretan ceramic. Handmade by Aegean artisans using traditional glazing techniques.
As with all handmade ceramics, slight variations in form, glaze colour, and surface finish are an inherent part of the process - no two pieces leave the kiln the same, and these marks of the maker's hand are what make each piece its own.

We take as much care with packing as the makers took with the firing. Every piece is individually wrapped, padded and boxed before it leaves us.
